UConn, on its own printed honours rule

UConn is the strictest published rule in this index because it is two rules at once: summa cum laude takes at least a 3.7 total grade point average AND a class rank in the 95th percentile or above within the student's school or college. It then publishes the realised cut-offs per school, which for recent graduates sit close to 3.95 and above, well over the stated floor.
